Chris and Martin are riding horses on the beach of Costa Rica one day when they suddenly go flying into the water and discover a seahorse. Martin wants to "ride" the seahorse with Chris, and together make a string of lies, Chris telling Aviva that they want to use the Miniaturizer to explore how this seahorse interacts with other inhabitants of the coral reef system. Of course, Aviva does not fall for it and instead plays a strict mother, telling the Kratts she's going to keep an eye on them. But while the Kratts are at play, Donita Donata is busy scheming up her next big plan: seahorse earrings. To do that she calls the Kratts, and eventually they give in accidentally. The Kratt Brothers must collect all seahorses with creature powers and trick Donita to get her away and free the seahorses.
