Rena captures all students, and threatens to kill them with a homemade bomb planted on the school roof. Working together with the others, Keiichi defuses the bomb. He and Rena fight at the rooftop, until she gradually regains her sanity and cannot bring herself to kill him. She reconciles with her friends. Though the crisis has been averted through atonement, Oishi and Rika plan to save Takano.
