Mia enters an essay competition at school. The topic of her essay is "Food from the forest". Mia is hopeful of winning the competition, because with the goblins she has wonderful experts on her side who can inform her about everything the forest has to offer in terms of food. But Firehead blocks! He, for whom people are a thorn in his side anyway, is not willing to betray even a crumb of his knowledge to Mia, so he pulls out all the stops so that Lamprey and Siebenpunkt don't succeed either. The result is both that Mia is more or less on her own and that Firehead and Lamprey get into serious conflict. When Mia decides to spend a day and a night in the forest and thus find out the secrets of nature, the brawlers bet without further ado: will Mia turn out to be a person who cannot survive under trees and at that all nature deliberately destroyed, as Feuerkopf claims? Or will she teach Feuerkopf better, as Mia's friend lamprey sincerely hopes?
