Upon returning home to New York City, the Turtles discover that the city has been overrun with Kraang Droids and Foot Bots. As they travel through the Kraang filled city, they find out that Splinter is suffering amnesia due to the injuries he got from his battle with Shredder. Splinter is then captured by the Foot Clan and held hostage by Stockman-Fly and three Shredder Mutants created from the DNA of Shredder and some crustaceans.
