Description

Kidnapping in the Slave Port. The Hispaniola anchors in a harbor to take provisions. Jim is allowed to come ashore, but loses the others in the hustle and bustle of the market and falls into a couple of shady men who want to sell him as child slaves. When John Silver realizes that something must have happened, he goes in search of Jim. He finds him and is actually able to free him, but is shot in the process. A few days later, the Hispaniola is attacked by pirates at sea. Silver has the saving idea: He throws three barrels of gunpowder into the water and detonates them with a rifle when they reach the pirate ship. The danger is over, only Captain Smallet is suspicious, how does a ship's cook know such tricks...
