Ahsoka faces off against Maul, who mentions Darth Sidious before escaping. Ahsoka relays this to Obi-Wan, who says he had inferred from the recently deceased Count Dooku that Sidious is the name of the Sith Lord who orchestrated the Clone Wars. After Almec is assassinated by Saxon, Bo-Katan helps Rex's team fight him and his Mandalorians. Ahsoka confronts Maul again, and he reveals that he engineered this conflict to lure Anakin there to kill him because Sidious intends to make him his pupil. Ahsoka and Maul duel above the city, and Ahsoka saves Maul from falling to his death; he is then captured by the clone troopers, despite his frantic warnings that everyone will soon die.
