Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 4 Episode 4 Something Borrowed, Something Green

Description

Episode Title:
Something Borrowed, Something Green
Episode Description:
After an Orion supply ship is assaulted by the same unknown vessel from previous episodes, Star Fleet pressures a reluctant Lt. Tendi into attending her sister’s wedding to demonstrate interstellar goodwill. Mariner and T’Lyn accompany her to Orion, where the Tendi family is one of the most rich, powerful, and feared on the planet. The bride, Tendi’s sister D’Erika, has been kidnapped, and it is Tendi’s responsibility to rescue her according to Orion custom. They eventually track D’Erika to an abandoned spaceship yard, where Tendi confesses that she was trained to be an elite assassin before running away and joining Star Fleet. D’Erika, who staged her own kidnapping, has been hiding in order to ambush Tendi in revenge for abandoning her for Star Fleet. The sisters reconcile and the wedding occurs as planned. On the Cerritos, Boimler and Rutherford, who have become annoyingly close, get into an uncharacteristic fight over their bonsai tree. Their conflict continues on the holodeck when they both appear as Mark Twain, but they resolve their disagreement by acting in character. They recommend doing the same when Capt. Freeman and an aggressive Chalnoth captain fail to negotiate, but it devolves into an open brawl on the holodeck. When the Chalnoth captain expresses curiosity about the bonsai tree, they take the captain to Boimler’s and Rutherford’s room, where the captain eats the bonsai tree. Suddenly content, both captains reach an agreement.
