Spider-Man fights Bolton, a Martian warrior who can form and hurl lightning bolts and plans to take Earth's gold. He comes to Earth, but is webbed up by Spider-Man. However, he is freed by the criminal Boomer. Spider-Man tricks Bolton into sending himself into space again using one of his lightning bolts and captures Boomer.
