As the OSFT fights the Others in the Suoh area, Yuito receives a telepathic message from Wataru, who warns him that Seiran has performed a coup d'etat against the New Himukan government. A few moments later, Yuito and his group meet up with Fubuki and explain the situation to him. Fubuki admits even he lack a firm grasp on the situation, so, for the moment, he drafts Yuito's team into his unit and task them to ensure Chairman Sumeragi's safety. They're also met by Luka, who has failed to find Karen and the members from Kyoka's platoon...
