Sandokan and the pirates set out for Kin-Bali following Nambata's instructions. The enemies discover their arrival and a battle begins. Sandokan is shot in the chest, but jumps into the sea, disappears into the water, and hides from the enemies. He manages to reach the island, delirious with a high fever.
