Kotarou is deeply disturbed after killing someone in self-defense for the first time. He grows close to a fellow soldier named Luis as well as some local kids including a young girl named Jasmine. After working as a mercenary for two years, Kotarou takes part in a mission to take out a narcotics factory where monsters have been spotted. However, Luis accidentally kills several of the local kids who were being paid to summon and control a huge monster. Kotarou and Luis decide to try to save the survivors, including Jasmine, but helicopters begin razing the factory and the surrounding area...
