He reports it to his boss Hans Andrei demanding a recall, but Andrei refuses to take action. Derrida decides to discuss this matter with his father the next day so that he can be on-time to Nathan's daughter Mage Bilstein's birthday party. Derrida, Nathan, and Mage's friend Yuri Dietrich celebrate Mage's 8th birthday at the Bilstein residence.
