In order to confirm that Hatsume is a Tsukikage member and infiltrate their group, Moryo has one of their members, Theresia Ray, transfer into Sorasaki High School. It is revealed that Hatsume and Theresia were friends when they were kids, but became a after they were kidnapped by child traffickers. Although Hatsume was rescued with her family intending to pay Theresia's ransom too, Theresia was sold off to Moryo under the belief that Hatsume had abandoned her. As Hatsume decides to believe in Theresia despite the others' suspicions, Momo senses that Theresia wants to make amends with Hatsume.
