While the unsuspecting Helene enthusiastically prepares to become the future Empress of Austria, her husband-to-be is tested for authenticity at every opportunity. Empress Sophie is also informed that the supposed Franz could be a double. A riding competition between Fritz and Sissi is supposed to embarrass the fake prince. But Fritz is lucky: his riding skills are just as good as Franz's.
