When their respective Personas, Izanagi and Magatsu-Izanagi, clash against each other, a flash appears showing Yu and Adachi the world from each other's perspective. As such, Yu sees all the hardships that Adachi had gone through, with Yu's acts of kindness only pushing him further off the edge.
