Meanwhile, back at the office, Mary examines the Extended hand to determine if someone is remotely controlling it. Suddenly they receive a warning call from Olivier just before they come under attack by Spitzbergen. They escape, but Tetsuro and Chris end up being captured while Mary manages to escape. Spitzbergen are seeking the data now in Juzo's possession which implicates Berühren in concealing faults with the Extended technology...
