Eventually Koiwai sets up both of them to meet in the park and smooth things over. The pair goes to the convenience store to get some food, and Moriko gets nervous about her appearance when a store employee asks if they are a couple. As they are walking back, they are caught in the rain Sakurai invites Moriko into his house.
