Miyo chooses the kimono Kiyoka commissioned for her. Elsewhere, Kouji's father shows Kaya the photo of Miyo and Kiyoka, which causes her to be astonished upon recognizing Kiyoka as the same man she saw him leaving the Saimori residence. He informs Kaya that Miyo is actually getting along well with Kiyoka, causing her become both enraged and jealous. Kaya tells Kouji's father that she will make a request to her father and will need his help. Meanwhile, Godo joins Kiyoka and Miyo for dinner at the Kudou residence. After dinner, Miyo suddenly has a nightmare and Kiyoka consoles her. At the Saimori residence, Shinichi bluntly turns down Kaya's request, much to her dismay. The next day, Miyo gets kidnapped after she and Yurie deliver a bento box to Kiyoka. Kouji discovers his father and Kaya are plotting to force Miyo to sever her engagement with Kiyoka. Kouji fails to stop them as he is incapacitated before Kazushi arrives to release him. Yurie informs Kiyoka of Miyo's abduction. Kiyoka then finds Kouji, who desperately begs him to save Miyo.
