The gang uncovers a plot by the Royal Mail Service to intercept and confiscate letters from the colonies. James and Sarah attempt to deliver a batch of mail between Philadelphia and New York, meeting with a committee of correspondence along the way. Meanwhile, Dr. Franklin is appointed Postmaster General by the Second Continental Congress.
