Jestro finds the Book of Fear and feeds it to the Book of Monsters. The jester then brings out spider-globlins and Whiparella, a monster who can find your deepest fears and can bring them to life. The knights go to the Dark Forest and try to stop Jestro, but one by one, the knights get whipped and their fears are brought to life, except for Aaron, who is afraid of nothing. He helps the other knights break free and they go to stop Jestro. After they defeat Jestro with his own monsters, they return to the Fortrex where Merlok reveals that Aaron is scared of staying still for long periods of time.
