On the second day of summer vacation, Nagisa agrees to allow her nephew Aoi to cross-dress if he wins the local mixed beach volleyball tournament, where the winning team also become the Beach Prince and Princess. Impressed by Aoi's determination, Misaki accepts his offer to be his volleyball partner. Erika and Usui also surprise everyone by joining the tournament. Both teams easily defeat their competition, earning them a face off in the final round. Misaki is frustrated that Usui is trying so hard to beat them and blurts out her anger, much to the crowd's surprise and her embarrassment. Misaki makes a risky save for the ball, sending her towards the umpire stand, but Usui jumps in the way and is injured. Aoi and Misaki win the tournament, but Misaki skips the victory party to reconcile to Usui. At the beach, Usui reveals he only joined the tournament to prevent Misaki from becoming the Beach Princess and getting exploited. Misaki is touched, but as they are about to kiss they are interrupted by a sudden explosion of fireworks. With their vacation over, everyone decides to have a group photo taken.
