As she leaves in anger, she makes him promise to go out with her should she win the next tournament, which then spreads into a rumor that the winner of the tournament would score a date with Ichika. At the same time, Charles Dunois, a supposedly male IS pilot from France, arrives and becomes Ichika's new roommate.
