While composing a score for a new film entitled Starboy and the Captain of Outer Space, Brendon falls for Scäb's choreographer, Cynthia. He asks her out on a date and they go to Jason's parent's country club, convincing her that it is his country club. He tries ordering sandwiches on Jason's account, but the waiter knows he isn't Jason and kicks them out, causing Cynthia to hate him. Paula, meanwhile, needs to take a typing test in order to get a new job. She fails the test as she is a terrible typist, but is able to take it again and simply hand in the test copy with the heading torn off. In the meantime, McGuirk calls woman in his yearbook, hoping to find a date. He asks one woman out, telling her that he is something he isn't, but she dumps him after she finds out he is lying.
