Satoko continues deceiving her friends and her uncle by posing as a victim of abuse. Chie attempts to visit the Höjö residence, but Teppei tells her to leave him and Satoko alone. From the Sea of Fragments, Eua watches as Satoko appears to have a mental breakdown when Keiichi tries to pat her head. Satoko's eyes flash red and return to normal as she apologizes repeatedly. Eua declares that Satoko has become a "witch."
