An older Rika wakes up in the Sea of Fragments as Hanyü suddenly appears before her. Hanyü tells Rika that she has been brought back to June 1983 for unknown reasons, and that Hanyü is only a lingering trace of her former self. Though Rika is distraught and confused, she vows to win back the future she and her friends had fought for, armed with the knowledge she has gained from previous worlds. Rika opens her eyes again, returning to the far-off location where she watched Rena and Keiichi at the Dam Construction Site. Keiichi screams when he sees Rena holding a hatchet and hastily hides the magazine he had been reading...
