He tells her to turn them to stone at the autumn celebration in Lyngarth. She agrees to do it, but she wants to sow discord between them first. Neppy Cat is watching and goes to warn the girls. Rosemary, Sage, and Parsley are in their costumes, when a man named Cal, who is Parnelle's cousin, says hello to them. Thyme comes out, but is embarrassed by her costume. Neppy Cat uses spells to go into a humanoid form, in order to warn the protagonists of the danger they face...
