On their trip, the two teams encounter each other at their rest stop, during which Tsubasa and Jinguji discuss their differences in the importance of team camaraderie. The next day, Satogahama opens the game on a strong note as Jinguji and her teammates make numerous errors, including allowing walks, that put the former in front.
