The 999 arrives at the Comet Library, where all the books published are located. There, a pair of men capture Tetsuro and try to force him into having a machine body, which he'll need to become a servant to repay. Maetel rescues Tetsuro and kills the two men. When they arrive back at the 999, two people try to imitate them and steal their passage, but the Conductor throws them off the train and the 999 departs.
