Takuya, still inside Sakkakumon, jumps through a portal which brings him to the Steel Sphere where Mercurymon's sub-conscious is located. He enters the Sphere of Light, where he finds Seraphimon's fractal code. Mercurymon absorbs the fractal code and becomes ShadowSeraphimon. ShadowSeraphimon overpowers Takuya, forcing him back into human form. Seraphimon's Digi-Egg, outside the spheres, begins to glow and allows Takuya to Fusion Evolve into Aldamon...
