Conan, Ran, and Kogoro arrive at the residence of Yuyama Morikawa, the don of the soft-serve ice cream industry, at his request. Yuyama has cancer and does not have long to live, and he asks Kogoro to identify three brothers who are candidates for inheritance. There, the third son, Yuusaburo Morikawa, is found dead in a locked room.
