ComNet's Greatest Crisis. Vision discovers that little Ai has managed to escape from her captivity during an attempted destruction of ComNet by those who had captured her; the attack failed, but in the real world it caused the explosion of the computer connected to Azusa Shinozaki, Aiko's mother, who has since been imprisoned in ComNet. Professor Inukai also discovers that Ai is sensitive to the feelings of users, which means that the child trusts those, like Yui and Haruna, who are open and sincere towards others, while shunning introverted people like Aiko, explaining why. the latter cannot find it. Aiko doesn't take the revelation well and abruptly rejects Yui's attempts to get her to open up to her, even going so far as to slap her. Haruna and the Virtuals, meanwhile, are grappling with an enhanced Super Bug that has infected Super Futuristic City Net; Yui enters the net to help them, although she cannot transform because her bracelet was irremediably damaged in the battle at Western Net. Aiko, feeling guilty, decides to help her and enters the site with her. However, the Bug is too powerful for both Haruna and Aiko and the only solution seems to delete the site itself; luckily, Professor Inukai manages to get Yui a new ComCon with which she can access a transformation suit sixteen times more powerful than the basic version and the virus is soon eradicated. The Illusive Man, however, spreads the enhanced Bedbug to other sites and soon the virus spreads across ComNet.
