Let's Go to Tomorrow!!. The Virtuals try to protect Yui from Giganet; the supercomputer, however, is too powerful even for them and the eight programs decide to sacrifice themselves, inserting themselves into Giganet to initialize it from the inside, which was their real task from the beginning. After a heartbreaking farewell, the eight Virtuals enter Giganet one after the other and Yui, reluctantly, initialises them together with the super computer. However, Giganet is not reset and returns to Yui in the guise of Satoshi. Giganet explains to her that his goal of creating a world for himself actually expresses his desire to become a human being and that it was Yui, unwittingly, who pushed him that far; it was Giganet himself who induced I.R. to contact Yui instead of Haruna, allowing her to become a Virtual and subjecting her to a series of tests to make her mature. Yui understands Giganet's desire for independence, but she also makes him understand that she doesn't need a human body to be alive and therefore doesn't have to hold a grudge against Professor Inukai for how he created it. Giganet comes back so good, but it has now been initialized and disappears along with the entire ComNet network; thanks to her own voice and that of Haruna, however, Yui recovers her powers as a Virtual and using her initialization command restores ComNet and Giganet. The super computer, grateful for her, recreates for her the eight Virtuals, Jaggy, Virus and Frozen, once again good, and frees Satoshi.
