This episode is set between episodes 3 and 5. The student council come across Iori Sekiguchi, a girl with a telepathic ability that causes the thoughts of people around her to be projected to others. Noticing that Iori feels burdened over causing those around her to fight, Yuu and Nao hang out with her to prove they can get along with each other despite having their thoughts constantly being read aloud. Despite a largely successful day at an amusement park, Iori loses confidence after her power causes a couple to argue, but Nao remains determined to stay by her side. Hearing about what might have triggered Iori's ability, Yuu and Nao visit her friend, Honoka, who reveals that Iori has an incurable disease that will eventually take away her ability to move. This agitates Nao, who lashes out at Honoka for avoiding Iori simply because she did not want to watch her suffer. Afterwards, Honoka makes up with Iori, who decides to do her best to fight against her disease.
