After Boruto gets a perfect score in the ninjas' written exam, Kakashi takes interest in testing him. For the next test, the apprentices are tested by Shino, Anko, and Kakashi. Shikadai, Inojin and Cho-Cho face Anko, Sarada and Sumire face Konohamaru, Mitsuki faces Shino, and Boruto faces Kakashi. Although Kakashi remarks that Boruto has the potential to become a mid-level ninja (Chunin), he states he lacks something to graduate. After defeating Shino, Mitsuki goes to aid Boruto.
