Episode Description:
Nel and Pesche go to the Human World to visit Ichigo, and inform him that Hueco Mundo has been overthrown by the Wandenreich after its previous ruler, Tier Hallibel, was defeated by Yhwach. The Arrancars of Hueco Mundo have either joined the Quincies, been killed or were enslaved, including Dondochakka. Urahara accompanies Ichigo, Orihime, Chad, Nel and Pesche to Hueco Mundo to rescue Dondochakka. Meanwhile, the Wandenreich's hunting captain of the First Jagdarmee, Quilge Opie (Sternritter "J", "The Jail"), tests the Arrancars to see who can join their ranks. Aizen's aides Loly and Menoly attempt to kill Quilge but are dispatched easily. Hallibel's Tres Bestias, Emilou Apacci, Franceska Mila Rose and Cyan Sung-Sun arrive and kill many Quincy soldiers but are also quelled by Quilge. Ichigo decides to liberate all of the Arrancars instead of just saving Dondochakka.
