Van Driessen sits on his desk in the lotus position. He falls to the floor and is injured. His temporary replacement, Jim, is easy-going and inspires most of the class to improve their academic performance—except for Beavis and Butt-Head. The duo repeatedly slam a locker door in the hall, causing cracks in the wall it shares with the classroom. When Van Driessen returns, the cracks worsen, and the blackboard shatters—falling on him.
