Destination Imagination, a television movie based on Cartoon Network's recently concluded Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends series, won the "Outstanding Animated Program (for programming one hour or more)" category in the 2009 Creative Arts Emmy Awards over Spike TV and Gonzo's Afro Samurai: Resurrection television film. The awards were presented on Saturday in Los Angeles.
