Alice is unlucky again: the big white rabbit mistakes her for his maid and sends her to fetch kid gloves and fans from the kitchen. First Alice tries to clear up the error, but then she comes to terms with her fate. There is fresh tea in the kitchen, which smells inviting. She drinks a cup and grows and grows. She can hardly move and is annoyed with the inhabitants of the wonderland, who show no sympathy. She finally manages to free herself from the big white rabbit's cramped house while regaining her normal size at the same time.
