One of the Scavenger operatives named Naruha Sakuragi fights Huotö and overwhelms her with her ability to manipulate paper into shapes and sizes. Accelerator arrives before Naruha finishes off Huotö. Rita İzumi, the leader of the Scavengers, soon realizes that they are fighting the ranked-one Level 5 esper of Academy City after hearing his name from Esther. Accelerator defeats the rest of the Scavengers.
